New York, NY—Single Stop released its FY2022 Annual Impact Report highlighting that our services reached 87,000 individuals and connected them to $374 million in benefits and other supports. On average, each family has been connected to support valued at $12,600 in through the Single Stop program.
As part of its impact surveillance, Single Stop analyzed customers’ programs who utilized at least one active case manager. They found that, on average, each case manager was able to confirm that the people they serve have received benefits valued at $287 thousand.
The report emphasizes the work of the Single Stop team, whose dedication and hard work are central to furthering their mission of helping others build a sustainable economic future.
“I am humbled by the incredible journey Single Stop undertook in 2022,” said President and CEO Martin Hanna in his introduction to the 2022 Impact Report—The Journey of Success. “It’s exciting that Single Stop can institutionalize help in a way that is available and accessible to many.”
In this release, Single Stop was excited to complete the first evaluation since the inauguration of their next-gen Single Stop technology product, which placed a new focus on usability, functionality, and accessibility.
Single Stop provides clients with a user-friendly online interface that gives them immediate answers about what emergency and short-term benefits and supports are available to them. Then, it directs them to verified resources and organizations in their community that are ready to help the client with their situation. With a vision of creating measurable impact, the software provides real-time Business Intelligence giving organizations that utilize the Single Stop system the ability to keep a real-time pulse on the impact of their various program.
During the year, Single Stop continued to be adaptable when the Biden Administration announced the Affordable Connectivity Program. Immediately they prioritized adding the program to their existing benefit screener, and clients could screen themselves just the week after the announcement was made. The technology was also bolstered by vetting over 130 thousand community resources and expanding operations in four new states: Maine, Massachusetts, Texas, and Connecticut.
This report also highlights critical activities of Single Stop’s tax and healthcare programs, such as helping over 17 thousand individuals receive over $44 million in tax refunds or enrolling over 9 thousand New Yorkers in a healthcare plan best suited for them.
This impact report reflects on the importance of rising to new opportunities and challenges with a focus that is clearly placed on adapting to the future. The FY2022 Annual Report shows that the capability to innovate is essential to furthering the success and growth of the Single Stop company.
